Why Your Baby Should Be Wearing Zuri Baby Couture

Why Your Baby Should Be Wearing Zuri Baby Couture

I recently found out about Zuri Baby Couture through Instagram. I liked the dress sets they have, how they're so girly and chic. I've always wanted a baby girl so I could dress her up in amazing outfits and I liked how Zuri Baby Couture makes everything for baby and toddler girls from shoes to clothes to accessories. They also have some designs for baby boys! Their creations use quality materials with the thought of children's sensitive skin in mind. Their collections debuted back in March 2013 and they have now amassed a big following through social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Creator Hershey Morgan founded Zuri Baby Couture because of her love for her daughter. She was looking for hypoallergenic headbands for her little girl and decided she would make one instead, and that was the springboard for what is now a worldwide brand. Zuri Baby Couture now has branches in the UK, Indonesia, Malaysia and France, and is under the fashion house of Genesis Logistics Marketing and Technologies Pte Ltd. This a brand that sells love!

California Beach Pansol: A Hip Retreat for All Ages

California Beach Pansol: A Hip Retreat for All Ages

Last December my company, TaskBullet, had our Christmas party at a new resort in Pansol, Laguna called California Beach Pansol or Cali Beach. It has a great location near the highway and has a parking area for those who will bring their own vehicles. For those who don't know, I recently broke my leg and am going around in a wheelchair. The place is a bit hard to maneuver in a wheelchair but my colleagues managed to carry me around. I loved was how photogenic the whole place looked and made for some awesome photographs. But the best thing was that we all enjoyed the place, the food and made tons of great memories together.

There were one big pool and a small jacuzzi. The water was warm because it came from a natural hot spring, so we swam until late into the night. The pool is good for kids and adults both, though it gets a bit deep at the far end. There was a big space for the buffet and the videoke machine, as well a lounge chairs and a dining area near the pool. Every seating area was easily accessible from the pool and really showcased the pool with the awesome waterfall.

The resort we rented was Villa 2 which had 5 rooms and sleeps 30 peeps. I liked how the decor was minimalistic but also hip and trendy. It didn't feel like a local place but a really lush paradise. The air conditioning was very good and I liked how the sliding doors looked over the pool. My only concern was that there was no shower in the bathroom in the bedroom, that would have been perfect. But the beds were big enough for all of us, though we forgot to ask for more pillows and blankets and ended up sharing!

We availed of the food packages they had, which included a buffet dinner and a boodle fight lunch. I liked how they served the food and how the staff was very accommodating with all our requests. The food was really good. And I mean really good. Check out the photos I have of some of my favorites.

We only spent less than 24 hours at Cali Beach but it was a really good experience. We had a lot of fun playing games and swimming and singing and just hanging out together. The staff was really fab, they were easy to talk to and were very friendly to everyone! It's almost summer and I know a lot of people are looking for somewhere new to vacation and I highly recommend California Beach Pansol, especially for team buildings or big families. You can check them out on social media since they have Facebook and Instagram.

Awaken Your Beautiful Soul with Seoul Struck PH

Awaken Your Beautiful Soul with Seoul Struck PH

There's this new brand that sells authentic Korean skincare at the Commune Hub and Society 8 called Seoul Struck PH. The woman behind this is Ria Piedra, a wife and mom of two adorable kids, and a self-proclaimed make-up enthusiast. She learned about make-up when she was competing in Latin dancing before, and practiced with make-up given by friends and relatives. When I asked her why she got into selling Korean make-up she shared:

As I aged, I realized one thing, too much makeup can sometimes cause skin problems such as clogged pores that may result to pimples and break outs, etc. I then learned about proper skincare. It's okay to put makep-up on but it's best to take care of your skin after. When I was working, most days I don't have spare time to do my make-up before going to work so I make sure to take care of my skin so I don't look tired and lifeless during working hours. That was when I was introduced to Korean skincare brands. Aside from being affordable,  they have been effective for me. I use them as well as sell them, and there has been a huge demand for Korean skincare and cosmetics products. I found suppliers for these Korean brands that can supply items in very reasonable prices. So I decided to try and start from a small investment. And I'm now a brand partner of a known concept store.
Her dream is to turn her soapmaking hobby into her own skincare line but right now it's impossible for me to sustain as she has two small kids to look after. It's already impressive that she has her line with Commune Hub and Society 8, especially since they have a vast range of clientele. I was very happy to receive a goodie bag from Seoul Struck PH and the items were perfect for my dark under eyes and sallow complexion.

They sent me a few of their best sellers to try out and I can say I am satisfied with most of them. Check out the neat package they sent me below!

This is for the eye area. I applied it before going to bed for a month to gauge the results. I still stayed up late though (dang Kdramas!) but I would say there was a little improvement!

The following are the face masks I tried, there are 5 different types: Milk,
Aloe, Snail, Collagen, and Green Tea. I would have to say that Collagen is my favorite as it smelled nice and my face felt tighter and lighter after using. I didn't like Aloe much (as did Hubby!) because it really smelled weird to me, though my skin was softer after using it, but I could get that softness from the other masks as well.

Check out the difference a month makes upon using the masks and eye cream! My eyebags looked a tad bit smaller and my skin is actually clearer. The photos were taken at home and show a month in between.

If you like Korean skin care, be sure to check out Seoul Struck PH's Facebook and Instagram to place your orders. They have tons more of great beauty products that are hard to score in the market like Laniege, April Skin, Moistfull, Innisfree and others. Even moms need to take care of their skin and have a great skincare routine, because looking good and feeling good go together. Remember that you can't take care of other people when you don't take care of yourself.
