Moose Play Camp 2018 Was A Success!

We attended the Moose Play Camp 2018 last May 20 at the Event Center of SM Dasmariñas. The Play Camp targets young kids who want to join workshops for singing, dancing or modeling. To join the Play Camp, just present a receipt showing at least P1000 worth of Moose Gear or Moose Girl items. There were two batches for the Play Camp which started at noon; they made sure that everybody had a chance to join. I felt really lucky to be there with my son and very excited for him to join the workshops that sounded really fun.

I modeled for a while when I was younger for SM Supermalls and also did some print ads and commercials so I know that to be truly good at the craft you had to have knowledgeable instructors. The instructors for the Play Camp are really known personalities in showbiz. Raymond Roldan of ABS CBN Star Magic workshops presided over the voice lessons and led kids to sing their version of Katy Perry's Roar. For the dance classes, Nesh and Labb Janiola of Hotlegs taught the youngsters to bust a move. And, freelance model Andrea Gomez patiently taught the kids how to walk a runway and strike a pose.

Raikko Mateo, best known for the show Honesto, and Ashley Sarmiento,  noted for her role in Flordeliza,  were both in attendance at the Moose Play Camp 2018. The two youngsters are also part of the Star Magic Workshops and are endorsers of Moose Gear and Moose Girl. They displayed their talents for the crowd - Raikko by singing and dancing and Ashley by singing while playing the ukelele. They also showed the new Summer Collection from Moose Gear and Moose Girl, the line has 3 cool and comfy looks to choose from namely: Athleisure, Streetwear, and Sporty Look. After the Play Camp, kids got to do a meet and greet with Raikko and Ashley, had their photos taken and were given autographed photos as a souvenir. It was truly a very fun and educational way to spend a Sunday with the family, plus it helps the kids know what type of extracurricular activities they may want to pursue. When I became a mom to a little boy, one of the things I went pretty overboard with is clothes. There was a plan for SM Cabanatuan to have a Play Camp but it will not push through. But there will still be SM San Lazaro and SM Dasmarinas Play Camps which will provide exciting and valuable activities for our children this summer. The MOOSE PLAY CAMP 2018  will be a great way for your kids to spend the summer vacation.

The first Ju-Ju-Be and Tokidoki collaboration was the Iconic, a mish-mash of adorable characters on a yellow backdrop. It has been one of the most coveted designs so far and many fans have been asking for a reprint. Instead of a reprint, Ju-Ju-Be and Tokidoki bring us another amazing mish-mash of our well-loved characters now without a colored backdrop but with an amazing velvet blue lining. Once again I went to CEO Emporium to catch the newest collab called Iconic 2.0.

Like the past trunk shows, there is a line of Jujumamas who want to get their hands on Iconic 2.0. The trunk show began at exactly 3 PM at the CEO Emporium HQ. I was literally dazzled by how amazing this new print is. I thought it would be like Tokipops that looked super girly, but this looked more amazing as it had darker hues which makes it more unisex. And the lining! Oh, the lining! It's this deep bluish-purple mix that made my heart (and wallet) weep.

I said I was adulting but couldn't keep my hands off a few choice must-haves. For me, it usually is a Be Light and Mini Be, but this time my heart went pitter pat over the Be Sassy which looked spectacular in this print. Iconic 2.0 is a must-have for all the fans of the original Iconic. I also got a Be Quick because, well, because. Who doesn't need another quick? This print would also be great for kids going back to school especially the Be Packed which looks like a school bag, and the Be Dapper which is a toiletry kit that they can use as a pencil case.

Product Review: Purple Fairy Organics

Nowadays there are many options for skin care and there are a lot of organic choices cropping up. One them is Purple Fairy Organics, the brainchild of Mommy Aine. She assures buyers that her products are earth friendly and would work for all skin types. Even people with sensitive skin can use her products, they are so safe and organic that pregnant women and lactating moms can use them as well. I was intrigued by this since I still breastfeed my 3-year-old, and I have such sensitive skin that most soaps make me break out in hives. They have soaps, and lotions, and oils, and even make-up! Below is my review of the products I have tried so far:

My Fave Bar (Oatmeal + Emu)
I really love this one because of the smell, it smells like candy and just puts me in a good mood during bath time. It's really easy to lather and the oatmeal bits give a good scrub to the skin. I was happily surprised that it rinses easily and there is no sticky or oily residue after washing. Really one of the best products I've tried so far. For Him & Her - Green Guava Intimate Wash
We all want an intimate wash that doesn't change the pH of our privates and cause unwanted diseases, which is normal with the commercial intimate washes. This one is very safe to use, whether you're a man or a woman. What I like about it is that hubby and I can share. I asked hubby about his using this and he said that he felt very clean and fresh and it lessened the musky smell that men are prone to having after sweating. I tried out all five colors since I'm such a makeup addict.

• Peach Alice - kind of orangey
• Coral Aurelia - natural looking
• Red Jasmine - deep red
• Pink Rose - very pink
• Violet Heather - very dark purple

I really like how I can use them on the go since 1 tube is all I need for both my lips and cheeks. They are actually very hard to remove, which is good for makeup, but really bad for my fingers. You have to really scrub with soap to get the pigment off. I favored Coral Aurelia and Violet Heather the most out of all 5 tints, but I would love for you to try them out yourselves. So that's it! Those are the products I tried out and my verdict on all of them. I gotta say you really get the bang for your buck with these products from Purple Fairy Organic. Don't believe me?
